Steeda's S550 and S650 Mustang "Comfort Pro" Tri-Ax Short Throw Shifter is crafted from high-grade billet 4140 chrome moly steel, precision-machined to exact specifications.
It is then finished with a durable nickel plating for exceptional corrosion resistance and a lasting, professional appearance.
Engineered for performance—our redesigned pivot geometry reduces the pivot ratio by 15%, delivering quicker, more responsive shifts while maintaining a comfortable in-cabin height. This upgrade accepts the OEM reverse lockout for a NVH free installation. The one-piece design replaces the factory’s two-piece lever, eliminating unwanted play and delivering a crisp, confident feel. Includes solid front shifter arm mount bushings to minimize deflection and maximize shifting precision.
