If you love to have fun on track, and know that "Speed Matters!" then you know that nothing can kill your speed and your fun as fast as an overheating diff. Well apart from being thrown off the track for having an exhaust that's too loud but that's another matter.....

As ever, Steeda have listened, experienced it ourselves on the track, and now have the answer for you for everyone with a 2015 or later Mustang, even those with the 2024+ S650 Mustangs.

This kit is a complete one and includes high-quality pre-made -10AN braided stainless steel oil lines that feed into an industry standard Tilton pump. The cooler core that we use is a Ford Genuine piece that will mount in the factory location. The wiring kit that is included allows for versatile install and the ability to customize further if you want a temperature controlled switch.

Without a differential cooler, the Mustang can experience high differential temperatures on the track, which will lead to accelerated wear on the bearings, differential, and gear set. It can also trigger a factory warning which will reduce power and speed, cutting your track time short. Our testing has shown a reduction in temperature of up to 75°F / 24°C after an hour and a half of track use in Central Florida summer heat. This will keep your differential temperatures under the warning threshold and within an acceptable range so that you have no worries about a reduction in power or speed.

Steeda's differential cooler kit is reversible so that you can return you Mustang to stock if there comes a time when you want to sell it. The system is designed to be nearly plug and play to make this an easy installation for anyone with basic mechanic and electrical knowledge. It also means if you upgrade your stand its simple to take this kit with you and prepare your next Mustang for the track!

This system works with a wide range of builds. An excellent option for street cars that see track use, autocross builds, or even HPDE builds. We use this kit on our Q350 EcoBoost Mustang and our 2024 White HPDE Mustang & Q500 Enforcer testbed build. Also by utilizing the factory mounting location, noise and odours from the cooler are kept out of the cabin, making this a good differential cooler to street/track builds.
